Hi is there a site where i can access birth marriage and death records to do a family tree? Preferably a free one!!

Is a good starting point, but to do a thorough and complete job you will probably have to use one of the pay sites ie ancestry.co.uk

FreeBMD goes from 1837 to c1914 but is far from complete. At the moment you can search the BMD images free on ancestry HERE but all that both of these will do will give you the references to order the certificates.


There is no other way to get the actual details from the certificates other than to buy them.
