Im using an iBook G3 (600mz) which, if I want to go wireless, will only accept the old style Airport card. Unfortunately these arent made anymore and are going for a ridiculous 90 odd on eBay. I really dont want to pay that much so Ive been looking at the wifi dongles which, as the ads on ebay would have me believe, work just as well.

Can anyone confirm this, or is it a load of rubbish? surely if they worked as well there wouldnt be such high prices paid for the original airport cards. If they do work as well, can anyone suggest a good one? all i wanna do is surf the net in bed, but im not paying almost 100 for the priveledge!!!!
