cordless phones dangers

given the recent news about the alarming amounts of radiation emitted by cordless phones(i have 2) - have any members here got rid of theirs - as i assume lots of households will have these will there be a mass junking of such phones?-or does a lot more research need to be done?

Hi tali!

About five years ago they came about with that news. It was said that cordless, mobile and cellphones could emit radiation to the head and eventually could give you a brain tumour ( shocking i know) but recently they treated it like the weather, they got it wrong. If it were to happen then you would have to be talking on the phone for at least 9 hours a day holding a cup of coffee would be more dangerous. So in direct answer to your question i wont be getting rid of mine and YES!!! a lot more research has to be done.
