Do I have an email virus?

For the last two days my Outlook (2003) has been swamped by emails - when someone sends me an email I receive it twenty times over a ten hour period, and I know for a fact they aren't sending it that many times! I have just virus scanned (McAffree) my computer and it came back clean. Is the problem with my internet provider, or does my Outlook have a virus I'm not detecting through my virus scan?
I haven't a clue - any ideas much appreciated as this is driving me MAD!

Not sure if you've sorted it out by now but it doesn't sound like a virus to me, sounds more like the mail isn't being deleted off the server after you've downloaded it.

Go to Tools > Email Accounts > View or Change > select the account > click Change > More Settings > Advanced > make sure that 'Delivery - Leave a copy of the message on the server' isn't ticked.

Hope that helps ;-)
