Following a partial collapse of my laptop it is now running OK but I keep getting messages from Facebook asking if I have just logged in from the area where i live. How can I stop these?

On Facebook, click these in turn:

Remove any unwanted ticks.
Close the box. ('X')
Close the next box too.

I get that every day; it may be something to do with me clearing out cookies every night at shutdown. And it's forever asking me if I've just signed on in Southall/Tottenham/Glasgow on an unfamiliar device (no, always the same one, and some distance from Glasgow).

(just to add: under Login Alerts, it just says "always on", and so it is.)
