Hi,

Probably a very obvious one to those up to date with the latest gizmos, but need to play masking sounds on bluetooth hearing aids or earbuds. At the moment am just using YouTube on my phone, but is there a gadget I can load sounds on to & connect to instead of the phone ? Getting mighty fed up with the ads on YT, & that once I open another task on the phone, YT stops playing.

Looks like I'll be signing up to YouTube Premium & downloading like crazy for the 1st, free month 😇

You could buy an MP3 player with Bluetooth enabled.

Have you looked at apps like this one? There are many to choose from

I had said to a friend earlier "I need something like an mp3 player" but not being up to date on newer technology thought they'd "had their day" & there'd be something else now. Will look at those.

And have used the Resound app but doesn't really do it for me. I will look at your suggestion tho' - thanks, very helpful, as ever :)

Most people use their phones instead of MP3 players these days, CW. One device to carry instead of two, but MP3 players are still available

You can use your phone as an Mp3 player. Using a PC, you can load music onto your phone's internal storage. First, download music files to your PC. One way of doing this is by utilizing 'Nuclear Music Player.' Nuclear is a free music streaming program that pulls content from various free sources. https://nukeop.gitbook.io/nuclear
Once the music files are on your phone, play them using a music player app. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=media.music.musicplayer The music will keep playing even while you perform other tasks.
Using a separate Mp3 player is less cost-effective, but you can still purchase them. https://www.amazon.co.uk/s?k=mp3+player&rh=p_36%3A-1500
