I joined for help with the Sunday Express Skeleton Crossword. That was back in Dec 2010 and i don't think i actually posted any comments until a couple of years later. I didn't open a thread on any topic until Sep 2013 when i moaned about Tesco putting their own brand Greek yoghurt up from £1 to £1.20 in one fell swoop. It's now £1.50, by the by:-(

Mine was a worried Grandma one, He was so premature and there was talk of putting contact lens in his eyes ( permanently) I was upset and worried and asked about it on ‘ Ask Jeeves’ ( pre Google) and I was directed to here

I was trying to find some refills for my Braun hot brush which were sadly becoming defunct and googled them to see if I could find if any were being sold anywhere. Amongst all the answers that came up, there was one where someone was asking a similar question on something called Answerbank, so I clicked on to it. I liked the site and decided after a few days to join. That was in 2011. Glad I did because I made a good friend on it who I was really drawn to and thought she was lovely - you know who you are lol .....

I asked my son if he knew the answer to a cryptic crossword clue and he found AB and enrolled me and I got hooked. Crossword section was busy in those days and I was made welcome by Danny, Retro, Mac, Captain and Lie-in King et al
