I'm trying to use Tesco website but it keeps saying my connection isn't private.
Have tried different browsers but they are all saying the same thing.
Anyone else have this problem and is there anything I can do about it? TIA.

Just had a look to check if its the site with the problem but all is fine logged in smoothly as always, I've never come across that problem so no idea what to suggest... sorry.
Log off. Then log back on and clear cache, and maybe history, before logging back int your sites. You may need to enter passwords again and ask your device to remember them.
That message means that the security certificate of a site that you're visiting appears to be invalid. Assuming that there's actually nothing wrong with Tesco's SSL certificate, the most likely reason is that the date on your computer (or whichever other type of device that you're using) is incorrectly set.

If you're using a Windows PC or laptop, take a look at the bottom righthand corner of your screen to check the date and time. If it's wrong, right-click on it and select 'Adjust date/time'. If it's OK try simply restarting your computer. (It's not unknown for Windows to display one date and time there but to use a different one to compare with an SSL certificate. Rebooting your computer can often fix that problem).

if you're using some other type of device, use whatever means is required to check that it's using the correct date and time.
Oh my goodness! I have been having this exact same problem for about 3 weeks. Thought it was just me. I am having to constantly switch from phone to laptop and site keeps crashing or not letting me on as it says connection not private. Would love to know what to do about it if there is a solution.
I have VPN and I find I have to switch it off to access some sites. Sainsbury's is one, Co-op another.
VPN is a pain in the bottom. I have uninstalled mine.
VPN is not necessary if you are using a modern operating system and browser. I you feel it dilligent to be "private" on certain sites then open them with the "In Private facility". Top right 3 dots••• "New In Private Window" and launch the site you are looking for. If you are using Edge with w10, for instance, you will find that all your bookmarks/ favourite tabs are there and you will not need an ad "filter". The only negative is that the background is by default black.(not when you open a tab) It is something that comes up regularly in the microsoft developer/insider surveys and more of us are asking for that to change to a light background. Microsoft say it is necessarry to make users aware that they are "in Private" for now, until more of us are using it. and when more web providers are happy to connect with what are almost anonymous web users.

Thanks for your answers.
I went with the easiest thing to do which was to shut the computer down, wait a while and switch it on again.
Fortunately, this seems to have worked.
