I have my emails via G-Mail on my mobile and my desk top.

I received a mail on my mobile and pressed a button that i thought was to forward the mail.

It appears it has gone into an 'Archive' folder and i can;t find it on my mobile, or my desk top.

I only glanced at the mail, so I can;t search for it easily.

Any ideas please?

I am only slightly more tech-savvy than you.

Try searching for your email in the folder named 'All Mail' - logic dictates that it should be there.
Click the cogwheel (top right).

Select 'See all settings'

Across the top of the page, you'll see lots of tabs. (The 'General' one will be pre-selected). Click on 'Labels'.

Next to 'All Mail', click on 'Show'.

Now move your mouse across to the left of the page, so that the list starting 'Inbox', 'Starred', etc becomes visible. Scroll down to 'All Mail' and click on it. You should then be able to find the missing email.

(The above is an example of why I hate Gmail. It makes everything so ruddy difficult!)
