Canon Powershot Sx40 Hs Unable To Upload Photos To Pc

This is a new problem, as I was uploading images from the camera via USB a few days back. Now the laptop acknowledges that the camera is connected, but camera then shuts down

Much simpler to take the card out of the camera and put it in the PC; you might have to get an adapter depending on what slots your PC has.

Glad you've got that sorted. I always do it the way I suggested as it doesn't rely on the camera battery having sufficient charge in it.

Hi guys thank you for your help previously. I now have a different problem: when inserting the card from the camera into F drive on my pc, I get the message "F:\ drive didn't work" Have searched all over for the way to fix this.
