That's truly awful. The one consolation is that it gives TTT something to be indignant about. Don't hear him often tut-tutting at non Muslim crimes.

if she is of Pakistani Origin wouldn't be likely make her Muslim? not that it makes a difference, killed for refusing to marry, not safe there at all, i wonder why she stayed.
Sky correspondent Mark White has said Ms Zulfiquar was buried in a funeral service in Lahore this morning in accordance with Islamic tradition.
TTT you're probably right, but frankly I don't really feel I want to spend time researching your old posts. Trouble is, you bring out the worst in me. I try to ignore you, but you know what it's like when you have an annoying flying thing buzzing around, sometimes even a Jain is tempted to swat it.

truth annoys you athiest?
Personally i don't think this has anything at all to do with religion. There was no arranged marriage, no 'honour' killing. Just two men who couldn't handle the fact this poor young woman wanted to marry neither.

athiest: "Trouble is, you bring out the worst in me. I try to ignore you" - what do I do that annoys you?
What's the evidence that any of them being Muslims was a factor in the murder?
A horrific murder of a lovely young lady - RIP.
Emmie, // Zulfiquar was buried in a funeral service in Lahore this morning in accordance with Islamic tradition.
i think the men killed the woman not the religion

also the fact the woman was british is not a relevant point and it's actually racist to act like it is.

Someone dealt a card when they typed the OP.

Why not...

No, that doesn't seem fair either does it?

I'm amazed at the amount of twisting and turning going on here in order to not blame the obvious. Women have no rights under Islam and almost anything they do is punishable by stoning, beating or death, often officially often not. Offending a suitor by not acceding to his demands can often lead to death or if they are lucky merely good solid beating or a face full of acid. To say this is not a result of the ways of islam is a massive exercise in delusion.
No twisting at all, it's a horrific murder and I hope the men are tracked down.

Her poor family.
Thankfully English men never kill women in England because they've been spurned. Never ever happened, never will.
Not in TTT's world, any way
why did the poor lass stay there, she could have come home surely.........
Barry, we know that it happens here, reportedly at least two women a week are murdered often by a partner or ex.
And men are also murdered by their partner or ex.

The problem in Pakistan and other such countries where Islam has a hold is that women are second class citizens. I am pretty sure the attitude of the killers in the UK would be different to Pakistan where many would almost think it their right.
