any suggestions most welcome, also how to clean the keyboard.
Micro fibre clothes.

for which ummmm, for the screen?

Window cleaning liquid works just as well as anything. Spray it onto a cloth, though, not the keyboard or screen.

don't have any window cleaning products to be honest. if i did what sort of cloth should i use.
Question Author
do you damp them first ummmm, ring them out, then wipe the screen....
I use micro fibre on all glass and mirrors. One to clean them and another to dry them off.
Cheap supermarket glass and window cleaner with J cloths or equivalent. If you have no window cleaning products how do you clean the inside of your windows, TV, mirrors &c?
Question Author
so you wet them first, then use a dry cloth to go over them, i know i am being a bit thick, but must get this right,
Yes, fine-textured slightly damp microfibre cloth...the only thing you need. No cleaning sprays of any kind!
Question Author
i don't clean windows, they stay amazingly clean. don't ask me how, as to mirrors, i only have one, and that gets a dusting from time to time. or a wipe over with a damp cloth.
I use Nilglass sprayed onto a tissue. Got it for the car but it works on other things too!
Question Author
can i use the cloths on the tv screen too
...and you should never use paper-based products (ie cellulose) on any sensitive surfaces ie any screen, spectacles etc as fine scratches will result.
Question Author
have ordered those you recommended ummmm, so slightly damp cloth, then wipe off with dry one, sounds right....
Question Author
what about the keyboard, do you do the same - or is that too risky...
I use this Amazon.com User Recommendation although I buy the larger size, it lasts for ages.
...if the cloth is only very slightly damp, you will find that the surface dries itself. I never use anything dry on sensitive surfaces like screens, specs etc.
