I've got an Dell Inspiron laptop running Windows 10. I'm trying to connect a set of Soundcore Life P2 ear buds. Having charged them, I take them out of the box. The white light on one flashes rapidly. Meanwhile, I've gone to:
- Bluetooth and other devices
- + add Bluetooth or other device
- the search seems to be going ahead, but nothing comes up.

I've paired Bluetooth devices, such as my phone with, this laptop before but this time nothing happens. Advice would be greatly appreciated.

Not an expert, but try this.
Leave the buds inthe box until you have turned onthe Bluetooth on your PC and clicked on + add Bluetooth and other devices. THEN open the box and take out the earpods and close the lid onthe box.
Are you sure the buds are compatible. I had a pair that were compatible with one device but not another

Thanks, Sqad, for your suggestion. Unfortunately, it didn't work - but it was worth a try! Calmk, I'm not sure how one would find out if they are compatible - there was nothing in the advertising to say they weren't.
There was nothing in mine but I think Amazon said compatible with all. Because grandson could use them did not return
Have you checked what buds Dell recommend

I've looked online, but can't see anything to suggest that one make is better than another.
I've got exactly the same ear buds and had the same problem. Have you got the ear buds connected to anything else?
If the are connected to another device, switch the device Bluetooth off and try pairing buds with your laptop again.

Very good suggestion, but sadly no - they've never been connected to anything else.
Is your phone currently connected to your laptop? If so, disconnect the phone and any other device and try. I always disconnect everything before pairing anything new.

Or google soundcore pairing issues.

Thanks again. In the end, I just had to send them back. A shame, because the company supplying them seemed really good - excellent customer service and really trying to solve the problem.
