Monitor Goes Mosaic At Start

When I switch on my computer the monitor freezes showing a multi colour "mosaic".
I have to switch off and on a few times before my sign in screen appears. I have the most up to date driver (according to device manager). My operating system is windows 10 and the monitor is an LG. Any thoughts guys? thanks in advance

Your problem is not with the monitor but with the PC. Either the video cable or the video adaptor. Check that both ends of the video cable are firmly inserted. If the video adaptor is a separate card, try removing and reseating in.
