I am with Boost for my electric (or have been) but they have now changed it to Smart but for some reason my change has not gone to plan and I cannot access my account etc. Luckily I have enough credit for a few weeks but my biggest problem seems to be I will no longer be able to top up online, which was my reason for going with them in the first place. Daft question probably, but can you use an APP with a laptop? Apparently I can top up with an APP but no idea where to get it from and think it is only on a smart phone.

Yes you can, if you use an emulator. Not as difficult as you might think, this is the one I use

That’s for playing mobile games, Barry.
It's for any app, surely?
If you can't log in here
https://my.boostpower.co.uk/login
and you've not got a smart phone, you can top up your account with your payment card at any PayPoint
https://consumer.paypoint.com/

(If you're experiencing problems with logging into my first link above, try using the 'Reset my password' link there. Otherwise call 0330 102 7517, Mon-Fri 0800-1800 or 0900-1300 Sat, for help in getting things sorted out. Calls are charged at the same rate as for 01 or 02 numbers; if you've got spare 'included minutes' on your call plan, that will make it a free call).
