Broadband been on the blink for a week or so, very slow despite have high speed fibre.
Did the usual on My BT, diagnostic checks and all that. Was told to ring as there was a fault somewhere.

Nice chap arrived this morning, only rang yesterday, sorted everything out.

Put new box in lounge and moved router in there. The laptop is wireless but my desktop is not.

He asked if I had a spare ethernet cable and he gave me , free, two gadgets which plug into the mains and gives me access to the router. He said they were from a customer who had no further use for them, saved me the cost of getting my desktop connected.

Good job I am not with anyone other than BT.

Actually, I think BT customer services have improved out of all recognition in recent years.
