we would be in the dark. we rely almost totally on technology, that is something we can no longer do without. technology runs our gas station, electricity plants, communications and a billion other things beside,
we'd be cold, unable to cook, unable to communicate, health services would collapse..and that is just off the top of my head
The end of the world as we know it!
depends what you mean by technology. I mean the wheel and axle was tech when it first was discovered.
There would be no spell-checkers to help when typing questions into AB. Mind you, there would be no AB, so nobody would notice.
So how did we survive before technology? Coal fired power stations and phone boxes.

It's really not a question of if, it's when. The last time a coronal mass ejection hit the earth, it completely took out the technology of the time, specifically the telegraph system. The next one, if it's big enough, will paralyse the earth unless we're massively lucky and have developed a way of shielding our planet from it by then.

This is, of course, the same argument about the next major meteor to strike the earth. We're hugely overdue for the next big one which, depending on its size and angle of entry, could quite literally tear the planet apart. We just have to hope that we have developed an effective method of protecting ourselves first...
Facemasks, Jim, the ultimate defence.
I’m rather pleased I about to become 70. ;/
