Word And Formatting!

I'm not sure what I clicked on by mistake but on my Word doc I now have a column down the right hand side with red formatting info, and a lot of my text has gone red. I've also lost all the tabs and icons at the top :/ Help please! It's Word 2013.

At a guess, you've turned on "track changes". That would explain the first part of your display. There is also an option to hide the ribbon. See here:
