Hi all.
My cheap Android tablet struggles to get a signal in the bedroom from our Sky modem.
Any equally cheap solutions?

Thanks Chris, that's brilliant, just the job. :-)
A Wi-Fi booster might help:

I posted a link to a booster that I've bought myself, so I can vouch that it works okay :)

And you Giz, thank you.

Zacs, Can't try it yet, arthritis in my knees, and prayer mat showing signs of wear.
May slaughter a chicken later and try that, if I can catch one :-)

A better range WiFi modem/router might not go amiss. How good is your Sky one meant to be ?
TP-Link 300Mbps Wi-Fi Range Extender & Booster128/6627 the booster works well, I can vouch for it. Siting the router to its best advantage will help too. Not in a cupboard for instance. Site it in the hall at the bottom of the stairs if possible for maximum coverage.
Having struggled with poor internet I bought the booster that Chris suggested above (14.99 currently from Argos) and it works very well, my query is whether I can run another at the same time to boost coverage upstairs as well, TIA
Have you tried grumbling to Sky? They might well send you a better router if you do.
No I have to be honest BHG it might be worth a go
