What is difference between renewable and nonrenewable energy?

One can be renewed (eg wind/solar power) as it doesn't reduce the total amount of wind/sunlight.
One can't be used again- when it's gone it's gone (eg petrol)

As was pointed out on your previous questions a please or thankyou normally helps. It also helps to say what level you are working at- eg year 8 or 'A' level. Also is it a 2 mark question requiring only a couple of sentences or is a 500 word essay expected?
