Will A Factory Reset Affect Anything On My 2Nd Hard Drive?

i want to do a factory reset on my dell precision m6800 laptop

the os is installed on c drive. when i got it, i installed my own hard drive from my own laptop - d drive - which just has my files etc on it

if i do the factory reset, will it affect the other drive at all? should i remove i from the machine first?

my instinct says no - however - when these machines were new i 'think' they came with a hard drive in that slot - which was removed by the previous owner so i dont know if it will try to also wipe and reset whatever is in that slot to factory settings too? ... :/

im on windows 10 but originally these were win 8 'i think' so it may reset to that ...?
