Hello,
I wonder please if someone could help me. My desktop computer has power and at first it allowed me to sign in, then suddenly the screen went blue and it said there was a problem starting! It seemed to try over and over again each time saying that it would restart. What I will say, is that the Printer is on. Being completely ignorant of computers, I have turned the computer off, unplugged at the socket, taken out all the plugs at the back of the computer. Please can someone help me?

Try turning off the printer and unplugging it. Turn off the computer and unplug it. Then after a couple of minutes plug in the computer and turn it on. Sometimes this works. If not, please wait for further advice here or from another more expert source than me.

//What I will say, is that the Printer is on. //

??Could you explain that 2Pups. Why do you think it is relevant and how do you know? Is the printer actually printing?
Unplug everything from the computer, except for the mouse and keyboard (or the USB transmitters for those devices if you've got wireless ones).

Click on 'From a black or blank screen' here for instructions on entering Windows Recovery Environment:
https://support.microsoft.com/en-gb/help/12376/windows-10-start-your-pc-in-safe-mode

Continue to follow those instructions to enter Windows Safe Mode. From there, simply restarting Windows might be all that's required.

If that doesn't work, repeat the above but (at 'Advanced Options') choose 'Startup Repair' instead of 'Startup Settings'.
You're a good kid you, Chris! ;o)

BUENCHICO, Thank you so much for your help and advice. As I said, I am not too clever when it comes to computers. It turns out it is something called the Blue Page problem! I am trying to sort it out by going back a few days. So fingers crossed that will work. Once again Thank you.
