I have received a deed in pdf which I have printed off. But the boxes have been auto-filled and its printing out with this on. Apart from tippexing it out which will not be acceptable has anyone any idea how I can 'edit it' Thanks

You could try copying it to a word processing program where you should be able to edit it. You may have to import it from your word program. Make a pdf copy first so you still have an original.

If you have Adobe then you should be able to edit a pdf in that programme.

Im not very techno savvy. I only have adobe reader

Ages since I've used word but you should be able to import your pdf file into it to make it editable. It's not that difficult, but cannot walk you through it step by step, maybe someone will be along later or tomorrow that can. You may have to reformat the document once it's in word.

Thanks. Ive tried coping but it doesnt copy the boxes. I think id best get the solicitor to send it me in word.

If it's a legal document it's probably not supposed to be or even able to be edited

This is a legal document and will have been created in such a way that prevents you from editing it. I used to use PDFs a lot when I was working, mainly for controlled documents. I could allow digital signatures and comments, but anything else was forbidden. I used Adobe Acrobat for this, but I believe there are other programmes available.
