Thunderbird is similar enough to Outlook Express for people to be able to easily transfer from one client to the other. Many people have long regarded it as superior to both Outlook and Outlook Express anyway: https://www.thunderbird.net/en-GB/ I agree that the built-in Windows 10 email client is total rubbish!

Outlook Express has been discontinued for some time, tony.

Win10 has its own "Mail App".
Unless you have some particular requirements, you really don't need anything else.
The windows mail app is completely useless.
No doubt so people will be tempted to buy the latest Outlook.#

I use Mozilla Thunderbird, which is free
I use Mozilla Thunderbird as well. It's free and easily configured. I have multiple email addresses

Email client for Wins 10. Well done to The Builder, Ichkeria, Slack Alice, and Buenchico (whose name is of longstanding with Answer Bank). Thunderbird is a good substitute for OLE6. On conclusion of installation, a web page came up for contributions – I kindly thought giving a contribution – I suspect some of you know what happens – before I completed my card details to give a contribution two warnings happened in a millionth of second – web page warning came up and my bank blocked the process of payment – clearly a well-known fraudulent web page in operation. Thanks for your being with AB. TR.
