How Do I Forward An Email As An Attachment ????

So every now and again, I need to forward emails on - usually to report phishing scams, etc.

I know it's better to forward the email as an attachment, rather than just forward the email on, as it contains all necessary information to track the email, etc. The only problem is I can't figure out how to do it :(

I'm using outlook (my email address is [email protected]) and chrome.

I've googled and found this:

https://www.lifewire.com/forward-email-as-attachment-outlook-1173689

..... the only problem is, my layout looks nothing like that. I don't have all the headers running along the top with all the various options. The nearest I've got is when I press reply, I'm presented with 3 options; reply; reply all and forward. No option to forward as an attachment ..... it's just plain and simple forward.

Anyone any ideas please??

save it then attach it
not the answer but

I have always forwarded it in the main body of the email because some email servers cut off attachments
Hold down the left click button on the mouse, (assuming you're using one) and drag it down to highlight the content of the email. Then, right click on any part of the highlighted text and select "Save As". Save it to where you want on your computer, then attach it to the email you want to send.
yeah but no but
that doesnt save the meta data does it ?
Clarion, that is worse than useless as it will remove everything that the security professionals need, specifically the email headers.
No Peter, it doesn't. It saves the message. No mention of meta data in the OP.
Thanks for that silver tongued reply, Jim. I just love this web site! :o)
Anyway, Gizmonster wants to forward it as an attachment, so, highlight it, save it then attach it. But why not just copy and paste it into the reply? What's with all the headers, professionals, meta data etc? Just copy and paste. Innit?

Copy and paste isn't enough as it misses some important info out and "forward" can leave vital info out as well.

I sussed it eventually:

Have 2 browser windows open, side by side so you can see them both. On one of the windows, open up a new email that you're going to send. In the other window, have your list of emails and left click and hold down the left button on the email you wish to forward and drag it into where you'd d normally type the message in the other window. Job done - it'll appear as an attachment in the new email :)
