How do I get the keyboard to stay on UK? It keeps changing seemingly at random - and the @ and " symbols change over - and I also cant find the pound symbol - only got $

is there a keyboard shortcut or a setting to either flip it back to UK, or for the pound symbol?

thanks

You've not told us which version of Windows you're using. (It can be important!). With Windows 10, try pressing the Windows key and the Space bar together to cycle through the available languages.

1) Right-click the Windows icon in the bottom left of the screen and click Settings.

2) Click Time & Language

3) Select Region - make sure the Country or region is set to "United Kingdom and make sure the Current format is set to "English (United Kingdom).

4) Select Language - make sure the Windows display language is set to "English (United Kingdom) and make sure the Preferred language is also set to "English (United Kingdom)". If there are any other versions of English installed, delete them.
