My 95 year old Mum suffers with macular degeneration. We are taking her on holiday soon and I would love her to be able to lie by the pool and listen to some books but don’t know the best way. She wears hearing aids so this needs to be taken into consideration. Any ideas or suggestions please.

Check out your local library service's website. All public libraries offer free loans of audio books but the apps they use can vary from one library service to another. (OverDrive and BorrowBox are possibly the most common services though). Then install the relevant app(s) onto a mobile device, such as a smartphone or tablet. Your mother can then listen to...

Your mother can then listen to them through earphones.
