Hi AB'ers, when I switch on my computer it tries to boot up but only gets as far as "press F4 to enter raid utility" screen, then goes blank! I've tried F8 to start in safe mode and last good bootup options but this then asks which system to use "windows XP professional" and on pressing enter to accept.....nothing happens! I don't possess bootup discs or XP cd's but I'm sure there are restore points saved. Do you have any ideas I can try? or suggest what may be going on here...? Thanks.

Does your PC have SATA or IDE Hard Drive. If it is SATA, the BIOS may have defaulted to Raid Array setting. In which case it will need altering to IDE compatible setting.

Thanks for reply dodgyshirt, I think it's IDE as it flashes up detecting IDE harddrives for a brief moment before the Press F4 message. Do I need to change something here? oh, and how if I do? thanks again.
