Keyboard locked to US settings

i have a keyboard which when installed was set using US language, this needs to be UK. but there is no language bar on taskbar to click on to change settings, any help please?!

This is the route in Windows ME - it should be fairly similar for other versions of Windows:

Start > Settings > Control Panel > Keyboard > Language > Change.

If that doesn't make sense, or you require additional help, just post again.

thanx...but i should have stated it in xp sp2...sorry 4got

For XP go Start, Settings, Control Panel then Regional And Language Options.


Choose the Language tab then the Details button.


On "Text Services and Input Window" choose Settings tab. On "Installed Services" att the bottom make sure UK keyboard is installed.


At the top of the window, under Default Input Language make sure UK is selected.
