plasma flat screen tv

Is it possible to buy a plasma flat screen tv with a separate screen. The idea is to mount the screen on the wall with only a couple of wires buried in the wall with all the other components down at ground level?

Don't know about buying it as a package, but you can certainly buy a plasma or LCD monitor, and use a separate receiver.

Many plasma units have a seperate receiver, it isn't often obvious when they are on display or in the advertising bumpf.
