mobile phone and new sim card..keeping old number?

I have a sagem pretty basic mobile but it does what i want...I curently have a vodafone sim card with about 60 numbers saved on the card...I have just been given a new sim card for O2. How can i keep the old number I have to save changing it?

Don't quite understand what you want.

Do you want to keep old number and stay on voda, if so then just use old SIM on new phone.

Or do you want to use the new O2 SIM but transfer your old number, if so ask vods for a PAK number to enable you to transfer the number to O2.

I want to use the new o2 sim card in original phone and keep the old number.

OK I will contact vodafone for this PAK number.
