That's so nice, what a rest for the hounds.
Disgusting, flea ridden mutts.
are we sure this is true? I wonder what they do about the fleas and ticks....also where do the dogs wee and poo? Strays often aren't housetrained.
It also helps promote their new Turdallplace range.
looking in the mirror again sparklykid? Don't put yourself down pet!
I wonder what happens when the store is closed?
What would happen if a dog bit or scratched a customer?
Sparkly kid I love your warm heart and gentle speech

They do this when the store is closed at night, they simply give them a warm place to sleep.

I'm sure the amount of staff at IKEA can handle a couple of dogs lol, hey may even flee and tick them if they care this much
I wouldn't shop in a place that let stray dogs wander about. Better round them all up and take them to somewhere more suitable otherwise you are going to get inundated with strays. Seriously don't think this is true but can't find any evidence to the contrary

lol the dogs are not in the store whilst shoppers are.
Lovely dogs, lovely idea (or should that be lovely ikea?)

Spath:
I'm feeling kinda lonely over here. Wanna take a look?

According to the video the dogs are only there whilst the store is open.
>>> the dogs are not in the store whilst shoppers are

According to this, they are:

not sure that's right spath, the blurb talks about customers meeting the dogs and even adopting them so they must be there when the store is open....I am not sure its that easy to flea and tick treat a stray if they don't want you to and even then the fleas and ticks don't die instantly and would populate the store. and how would they get them out when the store opens.....also what about the wee and poo?
Question Author
""The dogs receive daily food and pampering from IKEA's employees and customers," Taccia said. "Some dogs have even found a family, going home with customers.""

Some you need to get a heart lol pompous attitudes AL ur suppose to be an aspiring vegan lol
its not a question of heart, its a question of practicalities.

Seems practical to me, strays get warmth, food, care and in some cases a forever home.. Shoppers of IKEA can either, shop online, not go at all, or get over the fact there is a stray dog sleeping on a rug

God forbid there is a flea infested pigeon outside greggs on the high street, stay in doors everyone!
I have asked Ikea on their facebook page....will be interesting to see if they answer.
Spath have you ever had fleas in the house? They will get into all the textile items on display and bite the shoppers and staff.
Question Author
This is on the assumption they may have fleas. I'd sure the shop wouldn't let them in if that was the case.

What if they have poo on their bum and it gets on the rug! Oh god don't go in.

I'm assuming they get washed, and cared for. Why feed and house a dog if you won't anti - flee it?
