Fire Tv Stick

I'm thinking of purchasing one. Do I need to get any special power cables for it please? Got to go out for an hour and will check answers later but would appreciate help to get what I need. Buying it from amazon. Thanks.

Your TV will need an HDMI port.

If it's this one, then Which? gives it the big thumbs up, saying "the best just got better". You'll need a decent wi-fi signal in the house or you may have problems. The power supply cable is included in the box, along with batteries for the remote control and even an HDMI extender (so it doesn't have to plug directly into the TV)

i have the second generation stick, but i find it rather slow compared to say 3gb /32gb android tv box, or nvidia shield they have no lag or suffer buffering issues.

You don't need to plug it into a wall socket.
Use the USB on the TV.
