My tv only has 2 HDMI ports. As I have 4 items to connect (tv+video + amazon fire stick+ wireless tv sender) my question is, if I connect the 2 HDMI points with 2 splitters giving a total of 4 HDMI connections, will it allow input and output on one of the main HDMI points ? For example:-
3 of the connections will be inputs ( tv + video + amazon fire stick ) but the
4th would be an output to the wireless tv sender. In short that means 1 of the TVs supplied HDMI ports would have 1 input and 1 output. Thanks for any advice.. Tel

issue 'MAY' be how do you tell the TV that HDMI port one now has 2 HDMIs going into it?

What TV is it?
you could get an avr receiver amp and connect all your hdmi's into that and one hdmi arc out goes in the tv hdmi arc in, plus you would have a stereo sound, obviously you will need speakers to connect up to amp, or just a a switcher box.

spathiphyllum
the tv will only use one hdmi at a time
in "the old "days you could do the same multiple plugs ins for scarts
My TV has two HDMI ports, i can't comprehend how if i split one of those ports the TV could differentiate between HDMI port one A and HDMI port one B
