No you can't. Your profile pic is default public .

Nope - the whole point is that people can find you by name & check that they've got the right "Gordon Bennett" by looking at the photo.

You can prevent specific people from seeing the photo (or even seeing that you have an account) by 'blocking' them on a one-by-one basis.

You could use a fake photo.

Many people do, OG - and a fake/partial name too - teachers in particular are well advised to have neither their real/full name nor an identifiable picture on their FB account.

Put a picture of a flower or a picturesque scene. Or. Don’t put any profile picture at all.
