Iphone Ringtone

When you’ve downloaded a track on to your iPhone, how can you make it your ringtone? I’d be grateful for a response with easy steps cos my mate with the iPhone is a technophobe!

Ringtone..find ringtone
Set as ringtone

If you can't strut your stuff with an iPhone, perhaps a more modest phone is in order.

Thanks Webbo. He says Your instructions work until “find ringtone”. When he clicks on “Ringtones” that just opens up a list of the naff ones included with the iPhone. He has bought and downloaded a track from iTunes but can’t work out how to make it a ringtone, or get it on that list of ringtones

Thanks Webbo. The track is downloaded but there is still no indication of how to turn it into a ringtone apparently. Can you provide a more detailed step by step guide?
