Lumina 550 (Rm-1127) Windows Phone Camera Not Saving To Sd Card

Problem as stated in title. The 32 G SD card has about 11 G left. When taking a photo, the screen says "saving" for several seconds, and the thumbnail of the most recent picture does not appear in the bottom right corner of the screen. The picture is not saved anywhere on the device. Is it possible to fix this?

The first thing I'd try is another SD card.There are a lot of dodgy SD cards around (with some sources suggesting that the vast majority of those sold via eBay, etc are fakes). The fact that the card shows as having 11 GB free doesn't necessarily mean that there's that much (or any at all) usable space on it. It might be that there's a fault with the card, meaning that all the genuinely usable space has been taken up.
