I want to buy this Huwaei P20 Lite and go with Vodafone on a pay as you go thingy. My old clapped out iphone4 runs this and still has about £20 on it. Question: do I buy the Huwaei from Amazon or Argos or wherever SIM FREE and take it to local Vodafone store to have the data transferred or do I have to buy it with sim ? As you can see I,m a bit out of my depth ….

First off you buy from where ever is the best price, if both the same price then Amazon, can't fault the after sales help.

You mention data what do you mean by this ? Do you mean data on your phone eg photos, text messages etc ?

You already have a sim so you just pop it into the new phone, the sim in the iphone might be slightly bigger so it may need cutting down to size.
