Facebook has blocked my access to my own timeline, telling me if I want to see content, I need to find more friends. I don't want any more friends. How can I tell Facebook to stop mucking me about and just let me see my timeline?

That's weird 'cos I have another FB account with no friends at all (I use it for buying/selling on buying/selling groups and I don't want nosy friends seeing what I'm doing) and I've never had this issue.
I'll be interested to see how this one pans out??
I have occasional issues too. FB let's me see about eight posts then buffers and tells me to add more friends. I don't want more friends, I only use FB to keep in touch with close friends and family and see their photos.

This does appear to be a new "feature" of Facebook - anyone know how to avoid it ?

Delete your account? I never understand why people need Facebook to keep in touch with friends and family. Emails do the job.
could see this ending up as a facility where small groups create groups of fake friends to get around it.....as for need facebook, I don't but I do enjoy it....
naomi you sound like your granny "who needs this internet rubbish? I find a pen and paper quite sufficient"
You said that, not me, Woofgang. I simply hate it that people think they need to depend upon something like Facebook.
yes, it was me what said it :)
Must be the heat.
nothing wrong with the homing pigeon message system that my family uses

Naomi...facebook is great. Pointless emailing my kids if I want a reply but they all have FB on their phones. Plus, you can video talk or just make phone calls through it.
How do you make phone calls ummm? I need an old gizmo to get to my fb as have forgotten the password.
