Hi,
I have just got a secondhand V3 which has been "unlocked" but when I put my SIM Card in I get a message on screen saying emergency calls only and it will not let me do any outgoing or take incoming calls,I would be grateful for any help.

What carrier is the SIM? A v3 is a pretty old phone now could be the SIM isn’t compatible.

The carrier is Vodafone.

take the sim out and give it a wipe try it then

p.s don't finger the contacts on it
