The HUDL runs Android software (from Google) and depending on your settings Android can automatically upload your photos from your HUDL to Google Photos on the internet (in the cloud)

Go to the internet on your PC (if you have one) and logon to Google Photos with the gmail address you use on your HUDL and you may find the photos are already there

Here is the link to Google Photos

https://www.google.com/photos/about/

If the photos are hot there go in to the Google Photos app on your HUDL and check the settings are to backup your photos to Google Photos in the cloud.

Once this option is set the photos should start uploading to Google Photos.

I believe you can also put a Micro SD card in your HUDL and copy the photos to that from the HUDL.

Also if you have a PC you can connect the HUDL to a USB slot on your PC (with a cable) and copy the photos from the HUDL to your PC.

Photo are often stored in the DCIM (Digital Camera Images) folder on a camera or tablet so copy your photos from there.

p.s. I don't have a HUDL2 so don't know if all these options will work but they are general options for most smartphones or tablets.
Guilbert53 has posted what I would have said, do both options as suggested so you have 1 as a backup.
I have a Hudl 2 which broke in a flashbang beyond repair at Christmas. Don't delay in case you lose everything (I lost up to level 1600 + on Candy Crush) and no-one was willing to try and repair it. For photos by the way I backed up with Dropbox.
Simply connect your Hudl to your laptop with a USB cable. It will then be seen as an external storage device and you can drag-&-drop (or copy-&-paste) files in the normal way:

(That page would like you to buy the software mentioned at the foot of it but you can ignore that bit. The transfer instructions are clearly explained and all that you need)
^ bear in mind it's a micro USB slot - I think it came with a cable
