Recently I have been receiving a notification, supposedly from Norton showing my Wi-Fi address, saying that my personal data and communications are exposed to an attacker on this network.I am then given the option to change network or ignore for now. I have Norton Mobile on my tablet and it is saying that no malware has been detected. However I am concerned, and do not want to have to spend out on more security.

Have you go a secure password on your router wi fi?

Have you changed the default password that came with the router?

If not you could be exposed to hackers or others (like neighbours) using your wi fi or stealing your data.

I also wouldn't use Norton.

Does the router still have the default name ? Have you changed it ?

Have you changed the default password to use the wifi ?
Ignore and delete. A scam recently - cut of in 24 hours if not responded to. Again ignore
