My super hub is blinking in all the right places, but my internet connection is mostly off. Has been for several hours. It says "connected to virgin, internet off"...will come on for a few minutes...enough to look at a page but stalls/stops when I try to move. Any ideas?

I know you asked Tony, but as I'm here, close all windows on computer ans switch it off. Unplug everything...computer and router, Wait 5 mins, then plug back in. Wait a while for router to reset, then power up computer. Baths x x x

Have you tried re-booting it, pasta.
If I have a problem with my Virgin internet connection, I just phone 151, and usually ther is a recorded message saying some repairs are taking place in my postcode area. I love Virgin's customer care, they are top class to me.

Is that with the power switch Tony? Do I have to hold it down for a few seconds...or just flip on/off?
1. Unplug it for ten seconds and then reconnect the plug.

2. Switch any devices connected to it off and then on again, not just a soft reboot.

If that doesn't work, there may indeed be an outage in your area...
Has Dave say's, pasta.

I've called their service number...no outages. At least not reported so far.

Ok...off to turn off 2 tablets.
Give it a re-boot then, pasta.

I've done. Let's see if I have the internet for more than 5 minutes.
Thanks all.
I get that all the time on Sky, all lights lit, icon tells me I'm connected but still unable to log on from the lap top yet the Kindles and phones are fine.

In my case it was two unresponsive tablets, but phone ok. A good reason to have 4G.
If some things work and others not, it sounds like a WiFi issue more than an Internet connection one.
There have been problems with Virgin for the last few days; including today.:-
