Subtitles For Movies Purchased From Amazon

Some time ago, I asked a question about how to access subtitles for box sets purchased from Amazon, and some very kind people helped me to do this. Now I have purchased a couple of films from Amazon, and the subtitle refuse to work.
When I click on the icon, which should allow me to turn subtitles on or off, the setting seems to be fixed at "off".
Does anyone have any suggestions to help? I cannot watch the films without subtitles.

Not all videos have subtitles. Amazon videos with subtitles are indicated by a little speech bubble icon (together with the icons which indicate the certificate such as U, PG, etc.)
If subtitles were not encoded with the video, then the subtitle switch will be disabled.

Thank you I suspected that. Think I Will just have to do without the subtitles. Bummer.

I would suggest you contacted Amazon help before you just accept it. They are very good with subtitles and it is likely they are there somewhere.
