Just bought a new desktop pc. Can't fit my old monitor as the connection is defferent. The new pc seems to have 'square' pins, and is a different shape.
Can I get an adaptor, or do I have to buy another monitor?
There is a HDMI connection on back of pc. Should I get a monitor with a HDMI connection?

Or buy a graphics card with the right connections. Basic ones are pretty cheap.

Not sure - the vga bit looks ok, but the other bit not so much!

To be honest.........if I were you and if your monitor is knocking on I would treat myself to a new one and go with the HDMI set up............. plus a set of speakers. :))
Yep, the link that is posted is the same thing but has a cable length incorporated as well. The USB part of it would not need plugging in. What you are after is DVI to VGA connector.
