with the Adobe flash player install its loaded Mcafee security which i don;t need... as i have security on pc.
I've had issues with video in the past. Still have some occasions when I have to multiple click to get them running. At one time I used to get a question asking for permission to run at the top of the screen; at other times it simply didn't appear. You don't have a setting or more stopping unauthorised auto-starting of videos, do you.
uninstall McaFee..could be two systems fighting !
Question Author
i have just uninstalled it hope that was right...

OG don't know, only started this problem in the last two days, what should i look for.....
restart now McAfee has gone
This will bring up a panel in flash player which will have Hardware Accelerator CHECKED............ UNCHECK
Emmie you need to UNCHECK Hardware Accelerator in flash player settings. This will cure it. There are compatibility issues with your video card and flash after recent flash updates.
No real idea. I'd just cast an eye over browser settings and see if anything stands out as a possible cause.

togo not quite sure what you mean..
see Togo's post on first page
That "video" appears to be just a static picture of Rod.
You should find the Flash Player Local Settings on your operating system thus.
Windows: click Start > Settings > Control Panel > Flash Player.

In there uncheck Hardware Accelerator.

get into control panel but can;t see flash player, think i am going to give up, which is a shame, just don;t know enough about computers i suppose. I enjoy the video clips when they work
Make sure Windows is always up to date.
Make sure all your Drivers are up to date. Check Control Panel and Device Manager
What Browser are you using. If it's Firefox, Google Chrome, Safari or Sea Monkey there should Not be any need to have Adobe Flash because the browsers support HTML5. There are a number of others as well. I manage alright without Flash.

Hans.
