Jesus. What programme. What device.

Silly me forgot to say,

Win 8.1, firefox on control panel.
Not sure what revolution the display should be, tried about 3, no luck.
If I could move the task bar to the left or right, I would be able to see the the apply & click, but cant move it, because the same prob as above.
I'm still confused.

I assume that 'revolution' should read 'resolution' but screen resolution is independent of any particular programs (such as Firefox).

If you're trying to change your screen resolution, ignore the Control Panel and simply right-click on your desktop to access the relevant options.

If you're trying to change something in Firefox, most options don't have 'apply' (or even 'OK') buttons. You simply select what you want and close the tab.

Thanks Chris,
Yes meant resolution!

Its hard to explain in writing, but here goes.
I want to change a few settings in display, & when I tick the appropriate boxes, there is usually buttons at the bottom of the panel, which says, Apply and OK.

The problem I have, is that I cant scroll down enough to see them, as my task bar comes up automatic & hides them, and cant make the panel smaller.

I have tried to move the task bar to the left, right but have same prob, trying to click on Apply & ok .

I have Opera & Firefox.

Sorry I cant explain more clearly :-(
Right Click on the Task Bar at the bottom.
Unclick Lock the Bar
Click on Properties.
Change the Bar position to Left.
Click Apply.

Thanks pal,
Thats my problem, the Click Apply is hidden because panel to big, which I cant scroll down or make smaller to see it.

Have managed to move to left side by clicking r/h mouse and dragging to left, but still cant get to apply & ok, with other settings :-(
Can you drag the settings window around the screen to enable you to see it? Or resize it by dragging the edges in?
Question Author
Thanks chelle,

Tried that, it wont resize or make any difference moving panel.
Sorry I'm not very clear what your actual problem is. What settings are you trying to change?
Question Author
I am trying to load Win10, from Win8.1, with a CD, and I cant get to the Install button, because its to low down, like the prob I am having in my Q.
The Properties box on my machine is not big enough to cover the Apply portion at the bottom of it. You can also move the box around the screen in any case.

Yes I know pal, but I cant move it up & down to see Apply.

How do you access it?
On Windows 7 you right click on the Tast bar at the bottom of the screen That brings up a small box. Then Left click on the word Properties. That should bring up another Text box. Mine is about 4 inches by 3 inches. I could show you if I could post an image on here.
Wish there was an edit function in here.!!!!!!!!!!!!
The Task bar may be positioned where you want it from that.

You must have missed my above post pal.

Wish I could see what you are doing. Sorry not to be able to come up with an answer for you.
As I said. the boxes I reach are small so do not cover anything.
We had this problem with one of the programs we use which is why I found out how to move the Task bar from the bottom of the screen to the left hand side.
