I have an HP Envy 5640 All-In-One Printer/Scanner - replaced original HP ink cartridges - not printing- Printer Status Report shows Black ink full - coloured cartridge NIL - I am using ac 0S High Sierra 10.31 - have tried everything on the HP web page - no help - can anyone tell me what to do? Thanks in advance to all who reply

I have just replaced the old original HP ink cartridges with new HP original ink cartridges - still not printing - still shows 'no ink' from the coloured cartridge - what else shoud I be doing?

Have you tried taking out the colour cartridge and inspecting the contacts for damage or contamination? Perhaps even just taking it out and refitting it again would help. I am assuming that you have also replaced the colour cartridge.
Are you sure you replaced Colour Cartridge as Printer will not print with one cartridge.?
Same thing happened to me (different HP printer) - I think HP have done something evil and stopped printer working after x number of prints with an "alien" cartridge. I gave up and bought new cheapo printer.
May sound silly but have you removed the plastic seal on the colour cartridge?
