How do I delete addresses from the drop down title bar on Internet Explorer? (just below the History logo). I have bought a present for my girlfriend online and if she sees it she will know instantly what it is.

To delete entries from the Address bar, you must clear your History folder. 1.On the Tools menu in Internet Explorer, click Internet Options. 2.Click the General tab. 3. Under History, click Clear History.
aha it's the old 'present for girlfriend' story. luckily for you, clearing your history also gets rid of any evidence of surfing dodgy websites ha ha
By the drop down title bar, I assume you also mean the bar where you type web addresses into. Click the downward pointing arrow at the end of it and you'll see what I mean. To wipe this clean, click on the following: Start (at bottom left of screen or hit Windows key) > Settings >Taskbar & Start Menu then once you're in Taskbar Properties click the Start Menu Programs tab. Where you see the Documents menu click the Clear tab and after a couple of seconds all should be nicely obliterated.
If you just want to delete individual items then right click in History.
