I need to check my model number of the system mainboard of my Windows 7 PC. The instructions on google say to press the Windows key but my keybpard doesn't appear to have one. Any ideas?!

Pressing the Windows key on the keyboard has the same effect as clicking on the Microsoft symbol on the bottom-left corner of your screen.
If you get stuck, simply install and run Belarc Advisor. It finds out everything that there is to know about your computer:

When you start the computer you get the POST screen (power on self test)

This is the screen where you see things like how much ram you have etc.

You may find the motherboard details on there - as the computer starts up, press the PAUSE key - it may take a few goes to pause it at the right point.
Type in 'system' in the search box and click on System Information in the suggestions.
Look under System Manufacturer for the Mobo manufacturer, next line down should be the Mobo model no.
